We are pleased to offer our beautiful Grand Cru Estate to patrons on their wedding day. Grand Cru Estate, built in stone by Peter Seppelt himself, includes the following:

The Historic Tower and Cellar Door – a little bit of France in our backyard!

  • Licensed area
  • Feel like you are amid a fairy tale in our two story stone tower.
  • Our room fondly called the “Red Room” with a wood fire, bar and sit down facilities for smaller numbers.
  • An ideal setting for a “cocktail” type celebration or pre dinner drinks and photo opportunities. This room opens onto lawn and courtyard area. Verandahs encompass both sides of the building.

The Wine Store – comfortably seats 100 guests surrounded by wine barrels.

  • Licensed area
  • Includes tables and chairs.

  • Exceptional public toilets, including disabled facilities.

Vineyard and grazing land amongst the Red gums -

  • Wander through the vines and sip on Sparkling wine with your Bridal party at “Pickers Rest”, a picturesque setting in the heart of the vineyard, ideal for photographs.
  • Take your pick of a rural setting. Grand Cru is a 300-acre property amid the Red Gums with sheep, cattle and horses happily grazing.
  • Beautiful duck ponds and wetland areas for the rural photo shot.
  • Peter may even share his beloved collection of historic Land Rovers for an extra special photograph!

Collingrove Homestead

Collingrove Homestead

Collingrove Homestead is an authentic Barossa Mansion located in the beautiful Barossa Valley. Built in 1856 as a little piece of England, the twelve acres of land consist of a large lawn area and manicured gardens surrounding the homestead. Beyond the gardens are rustic paddocks and a number of century old trees. The home is built of local stone and has a double bay window frontage with large verandas that are perfect for photographs. It is still furnished with the original family antiques making it feel real and not an interpretation of the era.

Couples have an abundance of choice when it comes to where they can hold their ceremony. The formal gazebo set in a rose garden is always popular, as is the area in front of the pond. For something a little different, ceremonies under the one hundred and fifty year old English Oak tree or the centuries old Gum trees look absolutely stunning. The beautiful grounds are perfect for a marquee garden wedding. For more intimate affairs, Homestead Drawing Room is available and its historical décor is bound to be a talking point amongst your guests. Collingrove is able to cater for both stand-up cocktail or seated functions.

Collingrove has five rooms of guest accommodation that are individually styled and furnished in French provincial style, with hand carved beds, fresh white linen and French style toile quilts.

Stately and magnificent yet humble and homely, Collingrove Homestead has a lovely synergy that makes for a wonderful venue.

Offering top quality catering is as important to the Château team as providing a fantastic venue. Choose from our resident local caterer, Owen Andrews Catering or The Farm (Elli & Saski Beer) who both prides themselves on providing the highest quality cuisine with a focus on locally produced exceptional quality regional food.

Within the Château guests can utilise a choice of the Grand Ballroom, a generous room set within the historic winery or the elegant Long Room.

The Grand Ballroom caters for up to 400 people for sit down functions, and is ideal for weddings who require a dance floor.

The Long Room, which offers views of the Valley, can cater for up to 80 people on a grand long banquet table, small round tables or conference style for up to 120 people.

Saltram Wine Estate offers a rustic venue setting set within a winery and formal table and bar service is given on every occasion. Saltram is perfect for both a ceremony and a wedding reception.

The venue is open especially for evening functions and offers 5 different areas inside and 2 outside. All areas are available for use during the function. Saltram has one of the largest onsite catering kitchens in South Australia with talented chefs from Salter’s Restaurant. All food is sourced locally and is prepared fresh daily. Saltram’s No 1 priority is to create the perfect package and setting for the Bride and Groom to match their exact needs.
